Oh my sweet readers what lovely comments you left on Monday’s post. You have truly warmed my heart. Thank you SO much!

As for today let me share my scatterbrained thoughts:
I have houseguests arriving later today. Before that happens I need to finish cleaning the house, the car and stock the refrigerator. I have given up on the weeding and will hope that they don’t venture out into the backyard. :)
I also have to finish a comparative analysis paper which is due tomorrow and put the final touches on an entire design floor plan for a lovely couple I am meeting with tomorrow afternoon. We are in the midst of planning a smart downsizing from 2,400 to 1,300 square feet.
Mid terms are rapidly looming and bring with it several tests, papers and projects.
I still need to finish three wonderful, well researched articles for Rêve by the end of the month.
Mr. Décor is once again traveling so all duties and child rearing are mine alone.
Have I mentioned I am in week two of battling a horrific cold? Achoooo!
So sadly I have to put the blog on hold for a few days. It’s not that I don’t have projects to share~ I do. I just need another me to photograph and write the posts.
But I am happy and managing joy amidst the whirl and twirl. I appreciate your understanding.
Laura

Of course we understand Laura :) I hope you have fun with your guests :)
Totally understand! I think we're all too hard on ourselves! You sound totally overwhelmed yet in control! :) Just keep your priorities in order, which I know you do, and you'll make it! Enjoy your guests!!
I guess one good thing about the midwest is we do not have to weed this time of year! Enjoy your guest and try to get some rest so you can get over your cold.
Take care!
Please get better sweet friend. Is there anything I can help with? I'm so glad you like your magazine, I've always loved it, too, and you were the perfect choice.....unless you don't like extras in your mailbox...LOL
Love ya'
Meri

I feel frazzled a lot and I have half of what you have on my To Do list! Hang in there and best wishes on all of your school and work projects.
Xo,
Jane
You mean you don't have all those arms?
I hope we can get together soon....I got a lot older since the last time :)!!
get well soon Laura- your a busy bee as always, but I bet you'll be able to squeeze in some posts despite of everything! Have a great day!
I know you, Laura, it will all get done, and hopefully you can enjoy your guests....I wish I were closer to help you!
Wow, you have a lot going on!!
I guess I should feel better now about myself, since I don't have anything going on and I'm seriously bored.
You make me grateful too that my husband and I will never have to downsize, since we've only lived in 1300 square feet or less all of our life. :)
I hope your health returns, I know from personal experience this winter, how miserable it is and these illnesses just hang on for weeks.... ♥
Love to you and yours,
Linda
Do the next thing. That's what I tell myself at these times. And don't worry about your blog. We'll be here waiting when you get back.
Happy Juggling Laura!! I am sure you will come through with shining colors! And we will all be waiting when you get back to blogging :)
I loved the picture you posted of "super mom" - that's what we are!
Get better soon.
Carol
I'm exhausted reading about your life! I used to juggle so much better than now...habit I guess. I went back to school when my kids were home and so very busy. Now, that would be all I could do! Going to get my hair done requires a "rest period" after it.
I love your chair in the last post!
Take care of yourself, your family & your guests. You are a superwoman normally, but even this may be too much for you! Do well on your midterms.
That's what I said before, you totally amaze me. I can't juggle all of that. God Bless. If I can help in any way, just call. Hugs, Marty
I recently bought and chalk painted 2 french cane chairs. I want to make a cushion for the seat and saw yours and wondered if you'd be will to tell me how to make the pattern and mine have the same seating-type as you do? I'd be ever so grateful for any help.
xoxo,
Connie
Laura,
Take care of yourself and get rid of that cold! You've got quite the TO DO list in front of you - just check things off one thing at a time.
Jan ♥
Enjoy the moment. i wish you smooth sailing and oceans of blessings in the days ahead.
Oh, my, I'm tired for you! Try to get some rest in the midst of the chaos- you need it to get over the ah-choos!
Everyone needs a little time away...My month with my kids while they were awaiting the birth of my grandbaby was some much needed down time.
Enjoy and please know we all understand.
Big hugs,
Carolynn xoxo
Laura, I know exactly what you mean! Take care of your cold and finish all you have to do. We will be here waiting for your wonderful post! Big hug!
Boy oh boy do I understand! I have worked nonstop for several weeks now and have had neither the time to blog nor visit. I'm just getting a few minutes to visit around, but I still don't have time to blog.
My Oh My, you are one busy lady.
I hope you can take some time for yourself after all is calm.
Understand, yes! Take care and we will hear from you when you are ready.
You are way too busy! Take care of yourself and your cold. Enjoy your company (and if they are upset about the weeds you can always hand them a pair of gloves so they can weed while you finish your projects and taking care of your family! :)
Slow down and smell the roses dear! {{{hugs}}}
Oh my,I am exhausted just reading your post, don't know how you fit it all in,wonder woman. :)
Ma chère amie prenez le temps nécessaire et revenez-nous tranquillement... lorsque tout sera possible pour vous.

I'm amazed at how you can juggle all that's in front of you, Laura!! First and foremost, take care of you and get over that cold. You know we'll all still be here and ready for you when you're ready for us. Blessings.
