Magical Glimpses… a look at some of the transformations occurring at Décor To Adore manor.
Over the weekend I playfully arranged some snowy vignettes that were placed here and there.
A wreath that has been in the works for awhile was also finished to my satisfaction ~ the how to will be on Friday.
Several cloche ornaments were created ~ you will love this one coming on Monday!!!
My friend Phyllis always brings me a poinsettia at Christmas time. I nestled it within a bed of greens, pinecones and baby’s breath on my front porch.
Right next to the poinsettia I covered an old white wicker Victorian chair with greens, pinecones, baby’s breath and tea roses.
I am also planning out a Parisian tablescape for Christmas and New Year’s.
Today I am working on a tree topper comprised of vintage elements. I am two teardrop ornaments short so a trip to the thrift shops is in order so that I can reveal this year’s tree. It’s now finished, go HERE.
Soon the baking will start. I think you’ll love the pretty, yet economical, way I plan on gifting the goodies.
Come back tomorrow to see what mischief the Sweetheart Elves have been making.
Be merry and bright!

De très belles décorations de noël...
Gros bisous.
It all looks so pretty, Laura! I love those ornament wreaths. I'll look forward to your tutorial. I'm so afraid one will fall off and break! Love all your white dishes. I just saw some nice ones at the dollar store yesterday.
It all looks so nice Laura.
Everything looks so cute and festive. Wish I had creativeness when it comes to decorating. I am lucky if I can get my tree to look at least like someone other then a toddler decorated it. Love looking at your inspirations.
Me thinks you're having waaaaay too much fun pretty lady. Well, you remind me of a pixie, so I guess it's all in character for you. See ya soon for finishing your project.
Love ya'
Meri
How pretty! I look forward to seeing that finished wreath and the ideas for gifting baked goods. My daughters and I always make a ton of Christmas cookies to give and need new ideas for packaging them!
Laura,
I knew Paris would make an appearance! :)
I am look forward to seeing that wreath and reading your tutorial; an abundance of sparkle!

You truly do great with those snow vignettes - they are precious and just adorable!
Oh my gosh! The little minis "skiing" is adorable!! Thanks for stopping by this morning :)
Happy Christmas to you.
I love week-long parties, especially the ones I'm invited to! HA! Can't wait to see!
Everything does have that magical touch. My husband was just talking about the magic he felt as a child at Christmas and how he wanted it back. That is why this year instead of gifts to one another we are both planning a Christmas date-night,to surprise each other with :)
Have a lovely day, and do come visit, and enter my Give-away.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Here is the link to my snowflakes you had made a comment on. They really are very easy to make and you can make them big or small. You can use whatever kind of paper you want. Just make to your hearts content. I think you son would enjoy making them. http://suesjourney-sue.blogspot.co.uk/2010/12/how-to-make-3d-snowflake.html
Looking forward to the how-to on the wreath! I have lots of vintage ornaments that need some new life!
Everything looks gorgeous ;)
Happy Holidys~

Beautiful Laura! Your images just glow. Ann
Just like the rest of the year, I love your Christmas decorating style. I hope to have time to come back and see how you did the wreath. What you show looks wonderful.
And I'm interested in how you're gifting your goodies, too.
Laura, Magical indeed! Your vignettes look like they are right out of a fairytale. You are so creative, I get inspired each time I visit. Beautiful header..........

I could just stare at the Shiny Brites all day! Nothing sweeter than a Knee Hugger Elf with a straw!
Magical indeed. But most of all very lovely. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Karie
Such a lot of whimsy throughout your house. I'm in love with that wreath!
Oh I'm loving it all!
Laura - Will you be sharing how you made the cloche ornament or did I already miss it? Either way - it's all to die for! Thank you for linking up to The Better Late Than Never Christmas Inspirations bloghop.
