I recently came into our home office where Sweet Boy was watching a show we had recorded for him. His eyes were brimming with tears.
“What is the matter?” I asked. “Are you ok?”
“Yes, it’s just this commercial.” He replied, pointing at the screen. “Want me to rewind it so you can watch it?” He asked
“Absolutely” I said.
Afterwards we hugged each other. Then he said “Do you think your blog readers would like this?”
Get your kleenex.

He really is a "Sweet Boy", Laura. I hadn't seen it before and I teared up watching it. Of course, I think it applies to all Moms ~ not just Olympic hopeful Moms. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Thanks for making me all weepy! My two-year-old saw the beginning with the moms waking up all the kids and started pointing to the screen saying, "It's Mommy! It's my mom!!" Even at a young age she knows just what Mommy does and what it looks like. :-)

I have one of those Sweet Boys, too. He is now 39 years old, but still so sweet, kind & tender-hearted, & a great dad to 4 of my 6 grands! What a wonderful tribute to Moms all over the world. I had not seen this. Thank you for sharing.

Call me crazy but that's the way I felt last week when my son graduated from college. I was so over whelmed with emotion I had to work hard to keep from losing it! Your sweet boy is such a jewel!

Jesenia and I cried the first time we saw this commercial. I remember buying the Shirley Temple movie Heidi (Jesenia was 5 or 6) and walking into the room to find her literally weeping at the scene where Heidi is crying over her GF's death and saying "this is too sad mommy". We're blessed to have kids with sensitive hearts :)
