There were times I didn’t know exactly where my husband was. Or when he would be coming home. But it’s not what you think….
For all of my anxiety it must have been ten times worse for him. Flying in airspace that maybe wasn’t safe or living in a tent pitched in the sand for months.
Mr. Décor, and every other veteran who has put his or her life on the line, I thank you for my freedom.

Laura, I LOOOOVE our fighting men. I'm a warrior's wife, Sugar! You give that man a hug and a kiss from me, a little ole lady in Idaho who just adores him for what he has sacrificed for his country. My hubs is a retired Marine and there were 2-13 month separations from him and me and the kids. It was hard but I knew he was doing what all warriors do: protecting our country, which isn't becoming as popular as it used to be. So you be sure and tell him I love him for his honor. Also, Applebee's is free tomorrow night for any vet! Love Bunny and I will definitely be there. Also, Texas Roadhouse gives vets free dinners on Veteran's Day. My thanks to those restaurants, and any others, who serve our vets and honor them!!!

thank him for me..and my children and my grandchildren. my father is still living and he fought in WWII on a ship in the pacific. please hug mr. decor as you call him..and let him know he is loved and respected for what he has done for all of us.

I have no experience with veterans in my family because my Dad was never able to serve and I'm not familiar with any of the relatives who served, but I admire all vets for their sacrifices made on our behalf. ♥

I well remember when Mr. Decor was deployed to various areas and how proud our family was and still is of his service to our country. (I think I have that picture around here somewhere!) May we all stop and reflect on the sacrifices all our veterans have made so we may live the lives we do. Ann
