I was glued to the telly all yesterday morning watching the nuptials of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene. For those who have emailed me, yes, I have already begun compiling images and scouring the internet for information. The post will be ready in standard DTA style (full of details) in time for R.W.W. (Royal Wedding Wednesday).
In other Royal news, who else is in love with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? The couple is currently on a whirlwind 11 day tour of Canada.
This shot is for my Canadian friends. The maple leaf enhanced hat was created by Sylvia Fletcher for Lock and Co.
The Duchess seems to be following in the footsteps of Prince William’s Mother, Princess Diana, with her true warmth. I think for several years the Duchess kept it low key and we are really only beginning to see the true personality that captured the heart of a Prince. Another reason to love her? The white Reiss dress was worn in her official engagement portrait. It indeed deserves a repeat performance. The maple leaf pin was on loan from the Queen. It originally belonged to the Queen Mother.
The Duchess accepted a sweet bouquet in a lovely Erdem lace dress and a pair of her favorite LK Bennet pumps. I want this dress SO bad I can taste it!
While this sheath dress was quite smart looking, I much prefer the wee lass in blue. Her expression is priceless and I love her attempt at a curtsy.

I recorded every possible show by DVR on the day of the Royal Wedding because I couldn't just sit and watch all day with the other responsibilities I have.
I think they make a wonderful couple and the Duchess is breathtakingly beautiful.

As for William & Catherine... I ADORE THEM!!!! I was such a HUGE Diana fan & it makes me warm & fuzzy to know her baby boy has truly found the Queen! As for me, I think Elizabeth should step down within the next 2 years & hand it over to William. I don't think Charles should ever be allowed to rule as he should follow that same rules as the Duke & Wallis Simpson were made to follow... He married his divorced woman so he gets to pass the thrown to someone who knows how to behave in a royal fashion. ONE LOOK & WILLIAM & CATHERINE SHOWS THEY KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE IN ROYAL STYLE! Great pics! Thanks for the Canuck nod. That hat was a cute way to celebrate Canada Day. Sadly it probably cost more for the one hat than all the clothes in my closet (...even the ones on the floor!) Hahaha!

We've been away camping, but you can be sure I've been catching up on the royal news since our return. Kate and William are being very well received by Canadians - I just wish they were coming out my way!
I just can't get over how flawless her taste is. It is perfection!!!!
I love everything about them! They seem so in love and it is such fun watching them and seeing what Kate is wearing. She always looks great and I love that she wears outfits more than once. She is just what was needed!

Kate looks stunning, as always! I too was glued to the TV watching the royal wedding. I did a post on my blog the same day.
I think the duchess is just gorgeous, and her smile always seems genuine and warm. The gracious way that she handled the media storm pre-wedding leads me to believe that she will not set a foot wrong in her new role. Love that lace dress, too! Thanks for sharing.

I am Canadian, and I've been watching every move they make! My parents were in Ottawa and got to see them!! They are a beautiful couple who are conducting themselves in a very professional, yet fun manor! I love all the casual activities they have been participating in. It shows they are very down to earth and easy going. They are just a lovely couple!
