Please forgive my recent lack of comments. My daughter was involved in a car accident in which her vehicle was totaled. She was not at fault and thankfully received only minor injuries. But given that she is only 22 we are having trouble finding her a rental car. (You generally have to be 25 to rent a vehicle.) So, this means I get to drive from one end of Phoenix to the other (30 minutes in good traffic) to pick her up at her apartment to take her to various medical appointments, etc.
We are also spending a great deal of time looking for a replacement vehicle. While the Fashionista is dreaming of something along the lines of this….
We are thinking we can afford this….
In the meantime I have been in bed for the past two days. Whenever my body has decided it has had enough stress the evil doer known as vertigo pops into my brain to give me a wild ride.
Yep, double ugh. I hope to be well soon.

Hi Laura, I'm very thankful your daughter was not badly injured. I have vertigo often and can sympathize with you. I pray you can get some rest and feel better soon. I enjoyed your cute strawberries in your earlier post. Take care.

I'm thankful that your daughter was not seriously injured in her accident. Can't wait to see what kind of a car she gets after seeing both ends of the spectrum! Vertigo sucks. Hope your head straightens out soon! (OK, that didn't sound quite right, but I hope you know what I mean :-)

Sorry to hear about the accident but happy that the beautiful Fashionista was not hurt. Perhaps it would be wiser if she stayed at your home for a week or two to save on gas, time and lower stress? I had a VW bus and a beetle!

Oh dear! I'm glad to hear that Fashonista wasn't seriously injured. I had a car wreck 3 days after my parents dropped me off at college (not my fault and no injuries) and they too had a terrible time getting me a rental (I was only 18). Also, they were 1200 miles away. What a pain.
I hope your stress level gets better.

So glad to hear she is fine! Not too fun for you, especially in that heat (I'm luckily out of town). Can you not rent yourself a car and let her drive yours? This is coming from a girl who hates to drive so I'm always trying to get out of it :)

As someone who has been in your daughter's shoes (my car was totaled by a kid in a pick up truck), believe me, I understand. Thank God she was not seriously hurt. Hope you are feeling better soon, too.

Oops.....sounds like you've had a double dose. We all seem to take our turns. Glad your daughter is not seriously injured and I hope your vertigo clears soon. It's so disorienting!

SO sorry to hear about your Lovely daughter's accident(my Boy cousin and my girl cousin have both recently been in accidents too, my boy cousins accident was real bad, his wife was in ICU for days) so I am nervous to be on the roads anymore. I described my severe jet lag as a vertigo type of feeling, almost like a mild case of the flu, sort of hard to describe unless you have had it I guess. Please take care, Hope she gets a car soon and Feels 100%, Dr. visits are a bit of a pain. Hopefully this accident can be settled pretty easliy, but IF you need a Lawyer, remember our Son works for a Great Law Firm, a small Family office. He is located at I-10 and Chandler Blvd. I know far from you so no worries.
