Bohemian bungalow part one

The backdrop of Bohemian Bliss was held in the beautiful yards of two darling historic bungalows. Today we will be viewing the yellow home of Dan and Kristin Alber.

The house and its grounds are quite lovely. It even has a wee playhouse.

Inside is a profusion of beauty and color. The fireplace is not used in the tradtional sense. A tv makes good use of the firebox hidden behind the shutters.

I absolutely adore the precious pink snail tucked into the lower left shelf of this bookcase.

Isn't this a wonderful little area?

My heart be still. A week later I am still dreaming about this chandelier.

The adorable kitchen was packed with prettiness.

Not an inch of space was wasted.

My pictures aren't the best, but can you see the beauty?

I love when people use every inch of their homes. The original use of this space was probably a formal dining area. It is now the home office.

Built ins and charming vignette's make this area a treasure.

Every inch is frothy fabulousness.

Blissed out booths

Bohemian bliss fest was a two day event that featured paper lanterns floating during the day...

...and beautiful chandeliers swaying in the night.

I took over 140 pictures but am sharing just a few of my favorites.

It was amazing what a small patch of grass was transformed into.



There were precious vignettes everywhere.

One of my favorite booths was tucked inside this darling trailer.

This is what I had for lunch. So delicious and healthy!

Twinkle fairy lights and sheer fabric did their best to conceal the blue tarp of the canopy that covered my booth. :)

I had made several corsages and tags.

The hair adornments were a big hit. I have a few left and will place them on Etsy soon.

Of course I also had jewelry made from vintage bits and bobs.

Pure Bliss

I am still recovering from jet lag and sorting through a mountain of laundry but I couldn't wait a moment longer to kick off a week long series featuring Bohemian Bliss Fest. Let's begin with all the fabulous fashionista's.

Sweet Jessi stole my heart in her perfectly pink confection. Dazzling Dixie is simply adorable. Both ladies work at Domestic Bliss.



Next up is Liz and the adorable Minnie. (Someone tell me who the ravishing beauty in blue is.)

My dear friend Karen and her daughter came to visit. The girls of Blossom had a wonderful booth. Just wait until you see what I bought!

Here I am with two very lovely ladies. The wonderful Maija and the gorgeous Sharon. My crazy hat kept slipping off. Still, not bad for a little hot glue, tulle and ribbon.

Saturday was brutally hot, but my new sweet friends, Heidi and Jenny, from Hollywood Regency looked oh so cool.

I am once again in a hat attempting to not burn with adorable Sharon. Sweet Maija made me the adorable pink scepter.
