Anthropologie and a good afternoon giveaway

I am working on a new project that requires lovely hardware. There are many wonderful stores that carry knobs of all sorts, but my favorite is Anthropologie. I imagine it is because the visual displays always bring out so many wonderful ideas in me.

There is always something that catches my eye such as this bedding ensemble.

Even though Mr. Decor says that our three sets of dishes are enough, I can't help but to take a look. For some women it's shoes. For me... dishes, oh and linens, and lovely vintage jewelry and buttons. Now where was I going with this post?

Ah yes, I spied this darling teacup and dishtowel in the sale section. Well, they were just to cute to leave there so I thought perhaps it might be time for a giveaway. When I spotted a second teacup moments later, it became a done deal.

Would you like this "Good Afternoon Giveaway"? It includes two pretty teacups. They are a nice French blue with gold handles and have lovely birds on the front. They just call for lemon poppy scone mix and Earl Grey tea. You can wash up afterwards with the darling tea towel and sweet smelling soap.

The birds on the teacup made me think of a vintage celluloid pendant I had in my collection. I decided to pair it with a long vintage chain I had on hand. It has an Art Deco feel I think. You can find it in my Etsy Shoppe.

Perhaps you like pink?

My daughter loves Marie Antoinette. This is her favorite. It has a small heart that trails down the back of the wearers neck.

How does your garden grow? With blue bells and cockle shells.

When I traveled to Minnesota recently to visit my grandmother the lilacs were in bloom. Vintage purple charms are often hard to come by. This necklace makes me think of lilacs.

If you decide to post a link to this giveaway on your blog let me know when you leave a comment. If you win I will go through my vintage linen and jewelry collection and add a sweet something extra to your package. I'll pick a name on Friday, July 18th.

Good luck!

Update~ check Friday's post as the winner has been announced.

You are woman after my own heart. I think we have a lot of the same obsessions. I would love to be included in the giveaway and I will ad another link on my blog to get a few more people here. As I was reading my 6 year old was standing next to me and when all the jewelry came up she would say, "That's cute. Oh that's cute too, go to the next one, Oh I want that one too." Need I say more about how much we like you beautiful creations.

That's very beautiful and very generous. My husband actually would love it. For a burly construction worker he has an odd little soft spot for a nice teacup. I have linked you in a post on my blog http://sheaintcrafty.blogspot.com/.
I borrowed your giveaway picture to illustrate the post. I hope you don't mind.

Hi Laura! I hope you are having a lovely day!

Thanks for inviting me to join in, I love giveaways. I am way overdue for one on my blog, but I have not had time to find any goodies lately! Unless they are wedding related. :-)

This is a fantastic giveaway and I am so excited to enter!

My youngest daughter has a thing for teacups. She would squeal with delight if we won!

I love the look of the Marie Antoinette necklace & how it trails down the back of the neck. Almost a little flirty & risque. :)

I love that purple necklace that you said reminds you of lilacs. Lilacs are my favorite flowers, with some others very close behind. beautiful. No, my husband is not Air Force. I do have a brother in though. anyhow, we live here because my hubby is Italian(born and lived) and American (lived) and we came here to be of some help to my in-laws. My hubby told me about his desire to return here before we even started considering marriage. He knew it would have to be a special girl he married for her to want to go back with him. oh, wait, i am not "tooting" my own horn, really. just informing you. so... here I am. And no, i am not italian myself. i am very American. :-) with a spanish background. two latin spices together has certainly kept life interesting.
:-) hah hah hah... have a great day. :-)
